The Story Behind the Stories

Ever wonder about the origin of a story idea or where the inspiration came from? Get a glimpse inside the mind and creative process of author Carrie Gallasch.

The Drawings Before the Story

Illustrator, Claire Richards, will demonstrate how she uses stick figure sketching and collage for story development. She’ll share the techniques she uses from comic books and graphic novels to test new ideas and visualise her work.

Peer Critique Session

Grab the opportunity to be involved in the morning critique session.

That’s a Wrap

Members who attended the SCBWI Sydney Conference in February will wrap up all the best bits into a neat little take away package for you.

Book in for:

EITHER the main session commencing at 11:30
