Manuscript Critique Session:
Interested members have the opportunity to give and receive feedback on a manuscript.

*This session runs from 10.30- 11.30 and is prior to the main part of the day.
All Things KidLitVic:
We’ll hear from several members who attended the recent conference in Melbourne.
Perhaps you’ve been umming and aring about attending. Kelly Hibbert will chair this panel which might just help you make up your mind.
My Creative Process: A Masterclass in Fudging It
If you’ve ever doubted yourself, Allayne Webster will clarify how a complete lack of discipline, unfettered chocolate addiction, social media distraction, and an unforgiving diary produce literary outcomes. *There may be something useful in this session but Allayne makes no promises.

While it may seem like an impossibility to some, Mandy Foot will help you find the illustrator that, apparently, lurks inside us all. And it has something to do with the word peliCAN, not peliCAN’T.
Writing for Magazines:
If you’ve ever wondered how to submit to magazines then this session is a must. Two talented members, Alys Jackson and Kristin Martin, have oodles of acceptances between them and they’ll dish all the details on short story, poetry submissions and more.
